Saint Edmunds Archers are embarking on an exciting new project to build our own purpose built range!
The outdoor range will allow shooting at all distances upto 100 Yards with the indoor range catering for upto 25 Meters.
Saint Edmunds Archers run regular beginners courses for anyone interested learning the basics of archery.
Courses usually run for four consecutive weeks and are held on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 12:00. All equipment is provided and we welcome individals, families and groups of all ages* and abilities. (*Note that is no minimum age, however one has to be physically able to use the smallest bows we have which is typically from about 8 years of age.)
Ever fancied just having a go at archery? Maybe not sure about signing up for a beginners course just yet, but are interested in seeing what its like? Then why not come and 'Have-A-Go'?
Saint Edmunds Archers offer opportunities throughout the year to come and try shooting a few arrows. We attend several local village fetes and fairs during the summer where you can just turn up and have a go. If you miss these opportunities then, by arrangement we can organise for you to come to the Club to have a go.
Are you under 18? Fancy a new challenge, want to meet new friends or just looking for something to do? Why not come and join Saint Edmunds Archers Juniors'. The Junior section of the Club have their own dedicated club night on Tuesdays from 19:00 to 21:00 and can also shoot with the rest of the club on Saturday afternoons from 14:00 to 16:00.
